Monotreme I have to add that right after Viva posted this she turned to me and said "I'd totally do him" wink.

Viva, the feeling is mutual.

Hi guys, you're both really cute and I like it and this makes me happy.

In regards to snails(!!!!!) I have heard the beer trick but have always tried to take the noble 'I will not take the lives of the cute little snails' but nothing else worked!!! They seriously have a vendetta against me this year. I rearranged some of my pot plants the other week and felt this weird satisfaction in plucking the snails off the pots and throwing them to the birds. I figure it's the natural order of things. I couldn't salvage anything sad But my boyfriend bought me all new plants as a surprise, bigger ones that snails have no interest in. I feel like everything went in so late and I didn't understand the importance of annual crop rotation (I thought you only had to do it every 3 years or something) so it's not looking too crash hot out there. I am getting loads of sweet, juicy strawberries though!

Viva, I'm sad your poor little garden didn't fare well in the heat, but it also makes me feel less sad and alone in my gardening failures this year sad  <3

Re: Garden Porn

Half of the garden has pulled through my absence and come out with flying colors!
The other half is now mostly cat.

Since the photo we staked the tomato plants much better so hopefully they have a chance now.  Fingers crossed...
